Harvey Park District Invites Families To Register For “Session 2” Of Highly Anticipated Annual Sumer Camp
Summer Fun Camp To Feature Filed Trips, Weekly Swimming, And Exciting Activities For Children Ages 6 to 13
REGISTRATION FOR CAMP IS SET TO CLOSE JUNE 28TH
(Harvey, IL) The Harvey Park District is excited to announce that registration is now open for Session 2 of its Summer Fun Summer Camp, offering children an unforgettable summer filled with recreation, learning, friendship, and adventure. Families are encouraged to secure their child's spot now as enrollment remains open until Sunday, June 28th. Available spaces are expected to fill quickly.
Summer Camp has become one of the Harvey Park District's signature youth programs, providing a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can stay active, build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories throughout the summer. Designed for youth ages 6 through 13, the camp combines educational opportunities with exciting recreational experiences that keep campers engaged both mentally and physically.
Session 2 will run from July 6 through August 7 and will take place at Holmes Park, located at 16001 Woodbridge Avenue in Harvey, Illinois. Camp activities are held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., giving children a full day of supervised programming led by dedicated staff committed to creating a positive and rewarding summer experience.
Throughout the session, campers will participate in a variety of activities designed to entertain, educate, and inspire. Participants can look forward to field trips, weekly swimming, arts and crafts projects, literacy workshops, and additional recreational activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. Some field trips may require an additional fee.
The camp is open to both Harvey residents and non-residents. The cost for residents is $250 per child per session, while non-residents may register for $275 per child per session. A $25 registration fee is required to reserve a camper's place in the program.
To ensure that summer programming remains accessible to families throughout the community, the Harvey Park District accepts several funding assistance programs, including the Childcare Initiative, DCFS, Medicaid, and CEDA. Families may complete their payments using a credit card or money order.
The Harvey Park District remains committed to providing high-quality recreational and educational programming that supports youth development and creates opportunities for fun, learning, and community engagement.
