Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Park District Superintendent Michael P. Kelly, Chicago Public Schools Chief Executive Officer Forrest Claypool and Alderman Howard Brookins Jr. recently broke ground on a new multi-purpose facility, which will be utilized by Simeon Career Academy and the West Chatham Park community.
