WHITAKER NAMED NEW SUPERINTENDENT

HARVEY, IL – Harvey School District 152 Board of Education recently announced the hiring of Dr. Sonya L. Whitaker as the new Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Whitaker is responsible for establishing and maintaining the fiscal health of the school district, increasing the academic achievement levels of the students, making policy recommendations to the Board of Education, and appropriately allocating financial, technological and human resources.
