Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina church in the Auburn-Gresham community, directed people Dec. 13 inside BJ's Market and Bakery restaurant toward the free hot meals that were being passed out. The line for a free meal wrapped around BJ's Market and Bakery Dec. 13 as St. Sabina church sponsored its second annual Operation Hope. Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina, said the event is as much about feeding the hungry as it is about letting poor people know that they are not forgotten.
