The Chicago Transit Authority has identified where it will build the Red Line Extension. The 5.6- mile extension will start at 95th Street to 130th Street in Altgeld Gardens and include four new Red Line stations. On July 2, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted traditional approval to donanemab (Eli Lilly), sold under the brand name Kisunla (kih-SUHN-lah), for the treatment of people living with early symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease, which includes mild cognitive impairment and the mild dementia stage of Alzheimer’s disease, with confirmed amyloid plaques. This is the third FDA approval granted for an Alzheimer’s treatment that changes the underlying course of the disease.
