Under Karina Villa as Comptroller, Billionaires will pay their Fair Share
Chicago, IL - Karina Villa has proposed a new bill, SB 3376, this week to bring extra revenue to the Illinois’ budget.
“It is time for billionaires to pay their fair share” said Villa, “Budgets are moral documents, we cannot balance the budget by slashing services on people’s backs. We should be looking for new revenue to keep funding services where the federal government is coming up short.”
Karina Villa keeps being the only candidate for state comptroller bringing transparency and accountability to the forefront of her campaign. She is bringing solutions to the table on how to balance the budget while also going after Trump Donors who are getting tax havens by the federal government.
