THAT ROBBINS IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS

 

RECENT COMPLETION OF A $30 MILLION MWRD PROJECT, $1MILLION DOLLAR VILLAGE HALL;

 THE VILLAGE STANDS POISE AS AN FUTURISTIC COMMUNITY 

 

The Village currently has more than 1,000 vacant parcels available for development, offering significant opportunities across industrial, commercial, and residential uses.

 

 

(Robbins, Illinois)- Darren Bryant- Mayor of Robbins, Illinois- is publicly proclaiming that the Village of Robbins is now open for business. This comes following the completion of a 30 million Dollar MWRD project with a state-of-the-art football field, and a 1-million-dollar renovation of Village Hall.


But at issue is the now over 1,000 parcels of property in which the Village owns in which it is seeking for development across all spectrums.


“We have done an exceptional job of having scores of properties demolished and have excavated acres of land throughout the Village. It is just natural that a community of our standard now prepares itself or what will be a complete makeover. We want Robbins to be considered a destination point for motorists and commuters during their daily travels throughout the southland.


Cook County Commissioner Dr. Kisha McCaskill adds, “ Mayor Bryant and the full Village Board of Robbins has been relentless in their collective quest to transform Robbins into the crown jewel that mirrors its profound history. Mayor Bryant has a keen sense of what it takes to expand the horizons of Robbins and has been steadfast in his knowledge of municipal development. I am extremely proud of his visionary approach and undying spirit to redevelop Robbins into a Mecca for business.


During the latter part of 2025 , Mayor Bryant publicly introduced the residents to its first restaurant in nearly five decades. The addition of the Harold’s Chicken Entertainment Venue has drawn residents throughout the southland to the well-respected establishment.


Moreover, the mayor and the Village Board will soon cut the ribbon to the most well-equipped football stadium within the south suburbs. Robbins has received numerous calls from several grade school and high school football associations seeking to contract with the village to utilize the beautiful football venue.


Mayor Robbins concludes, “We are determined to remove the stereotype that Robbins is one of the poorest communities in Illinois. We have taken bold steps towards a prosperous future and have created a haven for developers to expand their respective business ventures.
