"THRIVE ENGLEWOOD" REFLECTS A SIX STORY LANDMARK WITH 62 UNITS OF FAMILY HOUSING, TWO LOFTS, AND A DYNAMIC RETAIL SPACE THAT WILL ENHANCE THE UPWARD MOBILITY OF ENGLEWOOD
“A GREAT DAY FOR ENGLEWOOD”
(Chicago, Illinois) Stephanie Coleman- Alderman of the 16th Ward of Chicago- will be joined by Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Thrive Englewood Developers, Community Leaders, Business Leaders, Elected Officials, and Englewood Residents in the unveiling of the all new Thrive Englewood 62 nit residential and retail development.
The development is a family residential property inclusive of Lofts and premier retail spaces. The project marks one of the most significant housing developments dating back nearly 50 years.
Key elements of the project include, but not limited to:
* One of the first new, non-senior, non-supportive mixed-use developments in central Englewood in decades.
* The first major ground-up mixed-use project in central Englewood in recent memory.
* A new chapter for Englewood — unlike any development in decades.
* Among the first developments of its kind — a modern, mixed-use project focused on families and businesses — in years.
* A unique addition to Englewood: the first mixed-use development not focused on senior or supportive housing.
* Revitalizing central Englewood with a new kind of development — the first of its kind here in decades.
* Unlike other recent developments in Englewood, this is a mixed-use project built for a broader community.
* The first family-focused, mixed-use development in central Englewood in nearly a generation.
* A standout development for Englewood — not a rehab, not PSH, but a new, community-centered, mixed-use space.
* A rare new mixed-use development in the heart of Englewood — the first of its scale and purpose in decades."
Alderman Stephanie Coleman adds, "Today marks a significant milestone for the Englewood community, particularly for the pioneers of our community who have lobbied and advocated for this type of development for decades. Thrive Englewood represents a paradigm shift of how we view economic development, the thought process of our residents , and the future of our children. I am grateful, honored and blessed for the countless community and business leaders who worked with our office to make this day a beautiful reality. I am equally grateful to Mayor Brandon Johnson and his administration for their due diligence in assisting us in this historic endeavor."
