Perched 24 Floors Above the City, Chicago’s Iconic Outdoor Oasis Kicks off 10th Season with Perfected Menu, DJ Sunset Sessions, and Exclusive Concert Series

CHICAGO, IL — Celebrating a decade of elevated hospitality, Aire, the iconic rooftop bar atop the Hyatt Centric Loop Chicago at 100 West Monroe Street, announces its highly anticipated return for its 10th season. Aire ushers in Summer 2025 with a refreshed approach, enhanced programming, and continued commitment to offering one of the city’s premier open-air experiences. This milestone season introduces a new format focused on a casual yet elevated atmosphere. Guests can expect a curated menu of shareable bites designed for relaxed gatherings, alongside a robust beverage program featuring inventive signature cocktails, frozen slushies, and the debut of Ida’s Artisanal Ice Cream, a beloved local favorite.

Programming highlights of the season include weekly Happy Hour Specials for after-work relaxation, Sunset Sessions, featuring live DJ sets on select evenings, and the return of the beloved Concerts Under the Stars series, every Sunday evening, showcasing top-tier tribute performances, channeling legends like Sinatra, ABBA, Beyoncé, and more, all under the stars, up in the Aire.

While up in the Aire, guests can savor Midwestern-inspired fare from the refined menus for easy and tasty shareable bites. Options this season include the Chicken Tikka Flatbread, with feta, scallions, tomato, mint, and raita sauce along with the Watermelon and Kale salad, with cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, and chipotle lime vinaigrette. For a delectable treat, guests can enjoy a selection of Beef Barbacoa, Carnitas, or Chicken Tinga Tacos and the Falafel Gyro Wrap, with tomato, cucumber, romaine, and tzatziki, or the Spicy Chicken Wrap, with bacon, tomato, romaine, pickled onion, and ranch. The perfect cooling dessert, Ida’s Artisanal Ice Cream, is a new specialty feature on the menu guests will be able to enjoy this summer. Quenching thirsts are a range of "summertime sippers," including the Frozen Bahama Colada, with an aged coconut rum blend, strawberry, coconut, and pineapple and the Italian Ice Frozen Spritz, made to enjoy with Aperol, elderflower, lemon, and sparkling wine. Aire also offers a variety of RTDs, local drafts, and curated wine selections to complement the dining experience. Amidst the rooftop's breathtaking views, guests can unwind to the tunes of live music under the stars and Friday night sunset sessions adding an extra layer of enjoyment to their evening out at Aire.

Guests visiting Aire at the Hyatt Centric Loop Chicago will also see up close their stunning mural “Grounded,” designed and created by Onur (https://www.onurpainting.com/). Covering the entire West, South, and East facing sides of Aire, the iconic Chicago-inspired mural features inspiring modern techniques, such as the use of UV-light-sensitive paints, which transform the mural from daytime to evening. The painting depicts a woman looking at the landscape, her eyes cast on a lighthouse on the horizon. By day it is a window on an idyllic and relaxing scenery, by night it lights up in blue, revealing its mysterious side. The artwork covers an area of 350 square meters, which is the entire outer wall of the 24th floor of the Hyatt Centric Loop.

Aire is open on 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. Sundays.
