Health and Wellness Pop-Up” At MetroSquash in Woodlawn
CHICAGO (April 12, 2025) – With millions of Americans experiencing increased feelings of anxiety and insecurity, healthcare providers are stepping up their efforts to help provide relief and support. Salaam Community Wellness Center launched its “Peace of Mind Health and Wellness Pop-Up” series last year as a way to help people navigate their mental and physical emotions. Salaam Community Wellness Center is a health and wellness center located in Chicago's historic Woodlawn neighborhood that offers a unique, innovative model of holistic healthcare that utilizes both western and non-western practices such as individual and group therapies, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, massage, acupuncture, Reiki, and sound therapy, among others.
Their next pop-up event is Saturday, April 19, at MetroSquash, 6100 S. Cottage Grove Ave., in Chicago from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. It is a free event and open to the public.
