 Chicago Sinfonietta: Soundscape

A one-of-a-kind celebration of the groundbreaking orchestra's work and impact in Chicagoland

Chicago Sinfonietta presents Soundscape, a unique, end-of-season fundraiser May 3 at The Epiphany Center. An extension of the orchestra’s innovative, groundbreaking approach to classical music and community, redefining the way audiences experience and interact with live symphonic music, Soundscape invites guests to explore a kaleidoscope of musical worlds at every turn, all while celebrating the orchestra’s influence on Chicago’s symphonic history.

We are thrilled to share the impact that Chicago Sinfonietta has made on the symphonic musical history of Chicago and the world. We celebrate 37 years of creative and exceptional music-making while honoring the rich diversity of our orchestra, performances, audiences and the communities we serve. The vision and brilliance of our Founding Conductor Paul Freeman continues," stated Interim CEO Wendy Lewis. "We look forward to sharing our talent and treasure.”

Soundscape is more than just a social celebration; it merges art, music, diversity, and history in a scintillating journey where guests enjoy choosing their own path. Various Chicago Sinfonietta ensembles scattered throughout the venue will perform a broad range of works throughout the evening, none the same. Explore The Catacombs, with its vintage aura and vaulted ceiling, or marvel at the whimsical architectural elements and preserved historic qualities of Epiphany Hall’s interior design while surrounded by music and fellow music lovers.
