Kappa Alpha Psi, Theta Zeta Alumni and Richton Park Alumni Association Team Up to Swing for Education
On Saturday, June 5th 2021, Kappa Alpha Psi, Theta Zeta Alumni Association will host its kick off Scholarship Fundraising at Deer Creek Golf Course 250550 S. Western Ave. University Park, IL. The organization will team up with Richton Park Alumni Chapter for the anticipated post COVID-19 event. The event will raise funds for Richton Park Alumni Chapter’s Kappa League. Kappa League is a national program of Kappa Alpha Psi. The purpose of the Kappa League is to provide high school males with opportunities to exercise leadership, engage in scholarship, explore college, and establish careers.
The Richton Park Alunmi Chapter will also introduce its 2021 Scholarship Kappa League recipient and present him with his award. The winner is chosen by submitting an application, meeting GPA requirements, providing community service and an interview. The recipient will also unveil the higher institution he will be attending.
“We are excited to see everyone in person post COVID-19 to fellowship,” said Brian Kimbrough, organizer of the Swinging for Education, “Most importantly we are excited to team up with Richton Park Alumni Chapter to change a young man’s life through this event”
Funds raised for Swinging for Education also helps chapter members at Chicago State which was formed under Windy City Guide Right Foundation in November of 2020.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a historically African American fraternity.
