Annual Architecture + Design Summer Camp For Girls Taught By Pascale Sablan

Alex Foundation is hosting its annual architecture + design summer camp for girls, going on now through July 17.

The free digital summer camp is for girls entering the 7th grade in Washington County in Mississippi and Chicot County in Arkansas. Funding for the camp is made possible by King’s Daughters and Sons Circle #2 and Mississippi Delta National Heritage Area.

The weeklong virtual summer camp uses the historic Belmont Plantation as a backdrop for teaching and learning. During the camp, a virtual tour of the Belmont Plantation is used as a way to study how architecture can be used to re-purpose historic structures.
