Script to Silver Screen Matches Screenwriters to Project Funders
Script to Silver Screen is matching Chicagoland screenwriters to potential production funders with their screenwriting and pitching master class that culminates in a private industry pitching event with potential production funders.
Script to Silver Screen is excited to announce the Summer Script & Pitch Master Class to be conducted at a private downtown Chicago location. The six-week screenwriting & project pitching program is an advanced-level course for Movie Maker Mondays alumni and screenwriters who are looking to fine tune their project and prepare for pitching in front of funders. In the master class, writers finalize their production-quality script and create a project pitch deck to help them secure production funding at a private funding event to be held in August 2019.
Script to Silver Screen offers this script and pitch opportunity to help screenwriters overcome the hurdle of finding financial support for writing projects. This initiative is powered by the Alliance’s mission to inspire and empower diverse stories in film and television. In addition to writing development, Script to Silver Screen works to cultivate a production-quality content pipeline for filmmakers, investors and producers.
The Script & Pitch Master Class is ideal for intermediate to advanced screenwriters and will take place at The WordSmith Writer’s Lab private downtown Chicago office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 11, 2019 through July 18, 2019. To join, writers can sign up at https://www.TheWordSmithLab.com/Scripts.
Organizations interested in the private production funding event scheduled for early August 2019 can send an inquiry via email to the Script to Silver Screen Production Pipeline Team.
