REPRESENTATIVE DAVIS ANNOUNCES CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS SCHOLARSHIPS
Congressman Danny K. Davis (7th IL) announced recently that the Congressional Black Caucus Scholarships are available through the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) for CBC Spouses Education and Cheerios Brand Health Initiative Scholarships; visit the CBCF website online at www.cbcfine.org for more information.
The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Spouses are comprised of the wives and husbands of the African American members of the United States Congress.
The CBC Spouses were established in 1976 as a part of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF). For more than 25 years, the CEC Spouses have worked with corporate sponsors to established educational and training opportunities for high school and college students.
In 1988, the CBC Spouses established its first education scholarship program. Since then, they have awarded more than $9 million in scholarships to deserving students across the country.
