    The central City of Newport News in southeastern Virginia...
    * Until 815 AM EDT.
    * At 509 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to nearly
    stationary thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain have
    already fallen across portions of the advisory area.
    * Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Newport News, Hampton, Langley AFB, Christopher Newport University,
    Patrick Henry Field, Northampton, Denbigh, Tabb, Beaconsdale,
    Oriana, Hilton Village, Dare, Oyster Point, Messick, Plum Tree
    Island Refuge, Menchville and Langley View.
    Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area.
    This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
