    October 12. This was the seventh highest crest on record and this
    crest compares to a previous crest of 24.0 feet feet on Jan 15 1995.
    More recently, the river crested at 21.1 feet on Jan 31 2013.

    * At 917 PM EDT, Emergency management reports that several roads
    remain flooded and closed across Pulaski County. Heavy rainfall
    associated with the remnants of Hurricane Michael fell across
    the warned area during the past 24 hours. It will take much of
    the night for water to recede and flooding to subside.
