* At 916 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. One to three inches of rain have already fallen in
the warned area since yesterday, leaving the ground very
saturated. This new rainfall is associated with the outer
circulation of Tropical Storm Michael encountering an approaching
cold front from the west. The rainfall will increase in intensity
and coverage through the morning and persist for an extended
period of time.
* Flash flooding will be possible into the afternoon as rainfall
rates will increase over the next several hours.
