    * WHAT...A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected today.
    Snow and sleet accumulations of a coating to 3 inches, and up to
    one tenth inch of ice are expected today. Heavy wet snow is
    possible Tuesday night into Wednesday, with total snow
    accumulation of 5 inches or more possible.
    * WHERE...Portions of central and northern Maryland and central,
    northern, northwest and western Virginia.
    * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 8 PM EDT this
    evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late tonight through
    Wednesday evening.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel
    conditions, including during the morning commute. Be prepared
    for reduced visibilities at times. Plan on difficult travel
    conditions, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.
    Significant reductions in visibility are possible.

    * WHERE...The central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and portions
    of central Virginia. Portions of the Potomac Highlands in West
    Virginia and Virginia.
    * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice may result in slippery
    conditions...especially for elevated surfaces. Travel may be
    impacted so allow extra time to get to your destination. Be
    prepared for reduced visibilities at times. Be careful walking
    because untreated walkways may be icy.
