    * AREAS AFFECTED: Much of central and eastern Virginia, The
    lower Maryland eastern shore, and portions of interior
    northeast North Carolina.
    * HAZARDS: Strong wind gusts.
    * WINDS: North to northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
    into early Friday morning.
    * TIMING: Into early Friday morning.
    * IMPACTS: Continued strong winds combined with heavy rain will
    lead to downed trees and scattered power outages.
