    Dan River near Danville affecting Caswell...Rockingham...City of
    Danville and Pittsylvania Counties
    Dan River at Paces affecting Halifax County
    Dan River at South Boston affecting Halifax County
    Runoff from excessive rainfall the later part of this week associated
    with Hurricane Michael will continue for a few more days. This will
    result in continued flooding along the lower portion of the Dan River
    from Danville to South Boston and beyond.
    The Flood Warning continues for
    the Dan River near Danville.
    * until Sunday evening.
    * at 6 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 22.4 feet and falling.
    * Flood stage is 17.0 feet. Moderate flood stage is 20.5 feet,
    Major flood stage is 25.5 feet.
    * The river crested around 30.01 feet Thursday evening and has
    since been falling. The river fell below major flood stage Friday
    morning and has since been in Moderate Flood.
    * The river is expected to continue to fall...falling below Moderate
    Flood later tonight and below flood stage around midday Sunday.
    * Flood history...this crest compares to a previous crest of 23.0
    feet on Sep 18 2018.
