* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected overnight into
tomorrow morning. Dangerously cold wind chills possible Friday
afternoon into Saturday. The dangerously cold wind chills will
cause frostbite in as little as 10 minutes to exposed skin.
Expect wind chills to range from 20 below zero to 35 below zero
tonight into tomorrow morning. Wind chills could range from 20
below zero to 30 below zero Friday night into Saturday.
* WHERE...The ridge tops of the Appalachians and Blue Ridge.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until noon EST Friday. For
the Wind Chill Watch, from Friday afternoon through Saturday
morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS....Winds overnight through Friday will
average between 20 and 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Winds
Friday night into Saturday morning will average between 15 and
25 mph with gusts around 40 mph.
