* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total wet snow accumulations ranging
from a coating up to an inch east of the Catoctin Mountains, 1
to 3 inches in the valleys west of the Catoctin Mountains, and
locally 3 to 5 inches along the ridge tops above 1000 feet in
the Catoctin Mountains and eastern West Virginia.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Maryland, eastern West Virginia,
and the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
* WHEN...Through 11 AM EDT this morning. The heaviest snow will
fall through 6 am.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Most of the snow will be on grassy
surfaces, but moderate to heavy snowfall rates may cause road
surfaces to become snow covered. This may impact this
morning`s commute. Expect reduced visibilities at times.

accumulations of glaze ice will be less than one tenth inch,

Maryland, northern and northwest Virginia and eastern and
panhandle West Virginia.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice may result in difficult travel
