* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total wet snow accumulations of
around 1 inch are expected.
* WHERE...In Maryland, Northwest Montgomery and Northwest
Howard. In Virginia, Clarke and Western Loudoun.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT this morning. The steadiest snow is
expected between 5 and 8 am.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will end as a period of snow this
morning. Most of the accumulations will occur on grassy and
unpaved surfaces. Expect reduced visibilities at times.

SUNDAY...
* WHAT...A wintry mix of snow...sleet and freezing rain expected.
Total snow and sleet accumulations ranging from a coating up to
one-half inch. A glaze of ice accumulation from freezing rain
is expected to be less than one- tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...The northern and western suburbs of Washington
DC...central Maryland...northern Virginia and portions of
eastern West Virginia.
* WHEN...Snow...sleet and freezing rain will overspread the area
between 10 AM and Noon. Precipitation will change to all
freezing rain by 2 PM before changing to rain by late Sunday
afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions from snow
and ice. Visibility will be reduced to under 2 miles at times
in precipitation and fog.
