EST FOR DICKENSON...BUCHANAN...MCDOWELL...MINGO...LOGAN AND WESTERN
WYOMING COUNTIES...
At 732 PM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that the heavy rain has moved out of the warned area. 1.00 to 1.50
inches has fallen over the area and the runoff from that rain will
continue to flow into the streams, creeks and rivers.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Williamson, Welch, Logan, Clintwood, Grundy, Pineville, Haysi, John
Flannagan Lake, Breaks Interstate, Davenport, Oceana, Chapmanville,
Gary, War, Man, Delbarton, Northfork, Gilbert Creek, Mount
Gay-Shamrock and Mallory.
Emergency Management has reported some flooding in Dickenson County
Virginia. Other areas in the warned area may experience flooding as
well.
