At 607 AM EDT, reporting gauges indicated that many creeks and
streams within the warned area were cresting or starting to slowly
fall. However runoff from the 1 to 3 inches of rain that fell last
night will likely keep water levels close, if not above flood stage
into mid morning, especially in the vicinity of the James River.
