LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...
The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Coastal Flood Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday
afternoon through late Wednesday night.
* LOCATIONS...Shoreline in Arlington County and the city of
Alexandria.
* TIDAL DEPARTURE...Around 2 feet above normal.
* TIMING...Around the times of high tide. High tide at Old Town
Alexandria will be 9:34 PM tonight, 9:51 AM Wednesday and 10:04
PM Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Through midday Wednesday, water is expected to
approach buildings near King Street and Union Street. Shoreline
inundation up to one foot above ground is possible elsewhere. To

potential for moderate flooding persists through the late
Wednesday afternoon and evening high tide cycle.
