    EDT FOR NORTHEASTERN ALLEGHANY AND NORTH CENTRAL BOTETOURT COUNTIES
    IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA...
    At 515 PM EDT, reporting gauges indicate minor flooding continues
    along the Cowpasture River upstream of its intersection with the
    James River across the northeastern panhandle of Alleghany County
    and far northwestern Botetourt County. At 5 PM EDT...the Cowpasture
    River near Clifton Forge was at 11.8 feet and appears that it has
    crested. Flood stage is 10.0 feet. The river is expected to fall
    this evening and continue to recede over the weekend.
    Some locations that may experience minor flooding include... Clifton
    Forge... Iron Gate... Longdale Furnace... and Selma.
