.Scattered showers, some with heavy rainfall, are expected to
continue across the area today. With saturated soils and with
numerous area streams and rivers in flood or at bankfull, any
additional rainfall could result in additional flash flooding.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* A portion of west central Texas, including the following
areas, Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett,
Fisher, Haskell, Irion, Jones, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch,
Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Shackelford,
Sterling, Sutton, Taylor, Throckmorton, and Tom Green.
* Through this evening
* Rainfall amounts between 1/2 and 1 inch will be possible, with
localized amounts of 2 inches possible.
* These rainfall amounts, along with already saturated soils,
will produce rapid runoff, and low water crossings and city
streets may flood quickly. Creeks and streams may overflow
with swiftly flowing water.
