...A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect...
.Coastal areas that are prone to flooding will likely experience
water once again during periods of high tide from today through
the weekend. Above normal tides, along with returning onshore
winds that will strengthen over the weekend, will allow water to
come across Gulf facing lower lying sections of the Bolivar
Peninsula as well as from the west end of Galveston Island down
the Blue Water Highway. Water may impact sections of Toddville
Road in Seabrook and West Bayshore Road in western Chamber County
during times of high tide this weekend. If water becomes deep
enough to close these coastal roadways, then a Coastal Flood
Warning may be warranted.
