  • ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...
    The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
    * Flash Flood Watch for portions of south central Texas and
    southeast Texas...including the following counties...in south
    central Texas...Coastal and Inland Jackson. In southeast
    Texas...Coastal and Inland Matagorda and Matagorda Islands.
    * Until noon CDT today
    * Bands of showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible
    today in and around the Matagorda Bay area. Stronger storms
    training within the bands may produce high rainfall rates. Any
    additional heavy rain falling over already saturated grounds
    could lead to flooding.
