    .Patchy dense fog has developed this morning in areas west and
    southwest of Houston, with webcams and airport observations
    reporting visibilities fluctuating between 1/2 and 1/4 mile. Fog
    is expected to persist for the next few hours, quickly lifting
    after sunrise.

    The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
    Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this
    morning.
    * EVENT...Dense fog limiting visibilities to 1/4 mile or less at
    times.
    * TIMING...Through 9 AM CDT.
    * IMPACT...Limited visibilities will create challenging driving
    conditions for motorists.
