...A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for areas generally along
and west of US Highway 83 for Monday afternoon into evening...
.A dry airmass will linger over South Central Texas on Monday as
Gulf of Mexico moisture remains cut off. However, southerly winds
will increase and become breezy with speeds of 15 to 25 mph and
gusty. Humidities will fall into the teens Monday afternoon and
early evening. As a result, critical fire weather conditions are
expected. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for this area and
could be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning if conditions degrade
further.
