* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Expect wind chills to
range from 5 below zero to 10 below zero tonight into Tuesday
morning.
* WHERE...All of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening until 10 AM CST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...If you plan on being outdoors through
Tuesday morning, make sure to wear extra layers of clothing.
Exposed skin can succumb to frostbite in as little as 30
minutes when wind chill values are this low.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
