* Flood Advisory for...
South central Hidalgo County in Deep South Texas...
* Until 445 PM CDT.
* At 346 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding of poor drainage
locations with up to 1 to 2 feet of water depth in the advisory
area. At least one inch of rain has already fallen in about a
half hour.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mission, Palmview, Palmhurst, Alton, Narciso G. Cavazos Elementary
School, Abram-Perezville, Cesar Chavez Middle School, Doffing,
Guillermo Flores Elementary School and Palmview High School.
Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will continue minor flooding or poor drainage
locations.
