Wet ground from rainfall the past few days, and dry air coming
into the area from the northeast, has created patches of dense
fog across the area. Visibility will vary widely, from a few
hundred yards in spots to more than 10 miles in others, and
everything in-between. Daytime heating and continued mixing of
drier air should dissipate the fog by 11 am.
Be careful driving as roads are still wet or even may have ponded
water on them from rainfall yesterday, and rapidly changing
visibility may result in traffic having to slow down quickly.
