The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Brazos River at Seymour.
* from Sunday evening to Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 1:45 PM Saturday the stage was 8.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The Brazos River will rise above flood stage late Sunday
evening and crest near 15.8 feet Monday evening. The Brazos River
will fall below flood stage mid Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...Flooding affects croplands...pastures...and
rural roads along the river in Knox and Baylor counties. Low-lying
areas may experience depths up to 4 feet...with dangerous currents.
