    .Periods of showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy
    rain will continue across Middle Tennessee into this evening
    before tapering off. Rainfall reports and radar estimates indicate
    much of the area has received 2 to over 8 inches of rain since
    Friday. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is possible in some
    areas through this evening. Where heavy rain falls in a short
    period of time, flash flooding will be possible on roads, low
    lying areas, and small creeks and streams.
    Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again on Tuesday,
    but more widespread showers and storms with heavy rain are likely
    on Wednesday - and another Flash Flood Watch may be needed.

    The Flash Flood Watch continues for
    * A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
    Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Davidson, De Kalb, Dickson,
    Fentress, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson,
    Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Overton,
    Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart,
    Sumner, Trousdale, Wayne, Williamson, and Wilson.
    * Until 7 PM CDT this evening
    * Periods of showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain
    may cause flash flooding through this evening. Rainfall totals
    since Friday have reached 2 to over 8 inches across much of
    Middle Tennessee. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
    are possible into this evening before rain tapers off.
    * Locations most likely to be impacted include streets, low lying
    areas, poor drainage areas, and small creeks and streams.
