...WINTER STORM TO IMPACT THE MID-SOUTH EARLY TUESDAY...
.A strong upper level disturbance will move through the Mid South
early this morning as arctic air continues to spill into the
region. Ongoing snow will taper off from northwest to southeast
during the morning hours...with flurries likely lingering over
portions of northeast Mississippi in the afternoon. Most locations
in the I-40 corridor will see snow totals of 2 to 5 inches...with
northeast Mississippi seeing amounts of up to 2 inches. The
combination of very cold temperatures and gusty northwest winds
will produce wind chill values to zero or slightly below, mainly
along and north of Interstate 40 through noon today.

snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with localized higher
amounts, are expected.

Tennessee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
visibility at times. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite
