  • ...STRONG WINDS THROUGH THIS EVENING...
    .A cold front will continue to move east of the forecast area with
    increasing pressure gradients behind it. This will cause winds to
    increase again this evening. Winds in Central Oregon, North
    Central Oregon and the Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains
    are expected to reach wind advisory criteria, where a wind
    advisory remains in effect through at least late this evening.
    Breezy to windy conditions will persist over the forecast area
    overnight and Sunday.
    ...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...
    * WINDS...Southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
    * TIMING...Winds will increase this afternoon again and continue
    until late this evening.
    * IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
    lines. Scattered power outages are possible.

    .A weather system moving across the region Saturday will tighten
    pressure gradients and bring strong westerly winds in the
    afternoon and evening. The strongest and damaging winds are
    expected in the Gorge.

    * WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph...locally 50
    to 55 mph.
