    * MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES...Daytime high temperatures of 93 to 100
    degrees expected today and Monday. Hottest temperatures will be
    in the central Columbia Gorge and Hood River Valley
    * TIMING...Hottest time of the day Monday will be between 4 PM
    and 6 PM.
    * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures will increase chances for heat
    related illness, especially for sensitive groups and people
    without access to air conditioning. Heat stress is also possible
    for livestock and outdoor pets.

    .An extended period of hot weather is expected for southwest
    Washington and northwest Oregon this weekend through early this
    week due to a strong upper level ridge.
    ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT TUESDAY...
    * TEMPERATURES...High temperatures mainly 95 to 100. Low
    temperatures 55 to 65., but with warmer lows 65 to 75 in the
    higher terrain of the Coast Range and the Cascades.
    * TIMING...Through Tuesday.
    * IMPACTS...The heat will pose a high risk for people without
    access to air conditioning. The elderly, people without access
    to air conditioning, and anyone engaged in prolonged outdoor
    activities will be be particularly vulnerable during this heat
    episode. Local power demand is expected to be at high levels.
