At 1051 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Joseph Stewart State Park, or 29 miles west of
Crater Lake, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Rogue Gorge, Union Creek, Thousand Springs Sno-Park and Natural
Bridge Campground.

Highway 230 in Oregon between mile markers 1 and 11.
Highway 62 in Oregon between mile markers 46 and 68.

SISKIYOU...SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND SOUTHEASTERN JOSEPHINE
COUNTIES...
At 450 PM PDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over McKee Bridge
Recreation Site, or 16 miles west of Ashland, moving southwest at 5
mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Cantrall Buckley County Park, Squaw Lakes Recreation Site, Kennedy
Meadows, McKee Bridge Recreation Site and Applegate Lake.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
