...Windy conditions expected in the Grande Ronde Valley this
afternoon...
An intense low pressure system will track across the area today
and as this slowly drifts away...pressure gradients tighten
creating breezy to windy conditions by midday. Sustained winds
between 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 45 mph are expected into
the evening.

THIS EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM
PDT this evening.
* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 45 mph.
* TIMING...The winds will increase around midday and the strongest
winds are expected to occur late afternoon and early evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
