...EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDDAY SUNDAY
THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...
* MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES...Daytime high temperatures of 93 to 101
expected Sunday and Monday.
* MINIMUM TEMPERATURES...Overnight lows of 58 to 65 degrees.
Possibly as warm as the upper 60s in the urban areas and above
valley bottoms.
* TIMING...Temperatures will be slow to cool Sunday night.
Expect temperatures in the mid 70s around midnight, then
slowly cooling into the 60s around sunrise in most locations.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and limited relief overnight will
increase chances for heat related illness, especially for
sensitive groups and people without access to air
conditioning. Heat stress is also possible for livestock and
outdoor pets.
