...LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Lakeshore
Flood Warning, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* LAKE SHORE FLOODING...Water levels continue to rise on the
western basin of Lake Erie. Winds from the northeast at 15 to 25
knots will continue to cause the water level to rise and cause
flooding along the lakeshore.
* TIMING...Through 8 PM this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of the shoreline areas including docks,
ramps, property not protected by shore structures, and bay
shores will take place. Rivers feeding into the western basin
will also be impacted with higher water levels and river bank
flooding is also expected near the mouth of the river.
