...Excessive Rainfall Expected...
.Moisture associated with the tropical remnant low pressure
system will continue to move into the local area through Monday
morning. The combination of the low pressure system, abundant
moisture, and a stationary front will cause a significant amount
rain to possibly fall across the area through Monday. The
potentially heavy rainfall could also cause rivers and streams to
go out of their banks during this time period. Areas that
experience very heavy rain in a short amount of time could see
flash flooding develop.

THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of north central Ohio and northwest Ohio, including
the following areas, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford,
Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Marion, Morrow, and Richland. In
northwest Ohio, Hancock, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wyandot.
* From 8 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning
* The possibility for significant rainfall amounts between 3 and
5 inches with locally higher amounts are possible. This amount
of rain could cause main stem rivers, streams, creeks to go
out of their banks causing flooding. In some situations, there
is the possibility for significant widespread flooding across
the area. Some localized areas could see flash flooding due to
heavy rain on saturated soils.
* Main stem river threats could include threats to property
along the river banks due to flooding and to marinas including
docks and marine vessels due to the rapid flow of the water
downstream. Mariners should take precautions to protect their
vessels.
