...Excessive Rainfall Expected...
.Moisture associated with the tropical remnant low pressure
system will continue to move into the local area through Monday
morning. The combination of the low pressure system and abundant
moisture will cause a significant amount of rain to possibly fall
across the area through Monday. The highest rainfall amounts
will be focused southeast of a line from Mansfield to Warren. The
potentially heavy rainfall could also cause rivers and streams to
go out of their banks during this time period. Areas that
experience very heavy rain in a short amount of time could see
flash flooding develop mainly late this afternoon into this
evening.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania,
including the following areas, in northeast Ohio, Ashtabula
Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes, Lake,
Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, and Wayne.
In northwest Pennsylvania, Crawford.
* Through Monday evening
* A widespread storm total 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected along
and north of the U.S. 30 corridor through this evening with
higher amounts possible farther south. Portions of
Holmes...Stark and possibly Mahoning and Trumbull Counties could
see as much as 4 inches of rain. The heaviest rain will fall
today. This amount of rain could cause main stem rivers, streams
and creeks to go out of their banks causing flooding. Some
localized areas could see flash flooding due to heavy rain on
saturated soils.
