MICHAEL WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT WAYNE...SAMPSON AND WILSON COUNTIES
UNTIL 730 PM EDT...
At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar was showing persistent 35 to 45mph
gusts rounding the back side of TS Michael and pushing east into the
Coastal Plain of NC. These gusts have a history of producing wind
damage to trees and structures across western portions of North
Carolina.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible in these areas.
Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Clinton, Wilson, Mount Olive, Elm City, Fremont, Walnut
Creek, Harrells, Sharpsburg and Lucama.
