UNION...CHESTER AND SOUTHEASTERN YORK COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 PM EDT...
At 855 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from near York to 8 miles south of Chester, and moving
east at 40 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Rock Hill, Monroe, Chester, York, South Charlotte, Matthews, Indian
Trail, Weddington, Fort Mill and Stallings.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail and torrential rainfall rates
up to 3 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
the Piedmont of North Carolina...and Upstate South Carolina.
