the

Union County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...
* Until 115 AM EDT Monday.
* At 715 PM EDT, Union County Emergency Management continues to
report over 70 road closures throughout the county with ongoing
water rescues. To protect your life, travel is A curfew remains
in place from 7pm to strongly discouraged unless you are heeding
an evacuation order or seeking higher ground.
* The heaviest rainfall has ended across the county but significant
runoff will continue for several hours and will continue to cause
flooding concerns into the overnight hours. It will take many
hours for floodwaters to recede and for the county to fully assess
the structural integrity of roads and bridges. Again, please obey
